In this mix style garden, the client wants an oriental/ Zen Garden view from the study room; as well as a tropical holiday vibe with a 16 m long swimming pool in the backyard. The design utilises symbolic plants to develop Japanese and tropical styles.
In the backyard, the timber batten screen carved moon gate installed in front of the bamboo screen hides the tanks and gardening areas.
A customised laser-cut panel with light is proposed as the focal point of the moon gate to add interest and feature view.
